SUMMARY:Distillery Row Egg Nog Cocktail Crawl
DESCRIPTION:DISTILLERY ROW TO HOST EGG NOG COCKTAIL CRAWL \nProceeds from the Cocktail Crawl will go to support \nDove Lewis \n  \nPORTLAND\, OR –December 2018— On Saturday December 15th the eight craft distilleries known as Distillery Row plus three from the NW Distiller’s District are dedicating their monthly Cocktail Crawl to the holiday favorite – Egg Nog Cocktails.  Each distillery will be creating its own unique version of this classic.  Proceeds from the Cocktail Crawl will be helping to support the Dove Lewis.   The Cocktail Crawl runs from 12PM-7PM. \n  \nThe concept behind Distillery Row Cocktail Crawl is this: Each of the 11 distillery tasting rooms offers their spin on the same classic cocktail the same day\, adding a fun new dimension to the Distillery Row experience. The Cocktail Crawl has now expanded to the distilleries of the NW Distiller’s District in NW Portland. That’s a total of 11 distilleries\, \n  \nDove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital\, in association with the regional veterinary community\, provides 24-hour emergency and critical care\, education and community outreach. Its highly-skilled professionals are dedicated to: \n-Improving the condition of animals needing emergency and critical care. \n-Strengthening the ties with\, and extending the reach of\, the veterinary community. \n-Promoting the well-being of animals and the human-animal bond throughout the community. \n  \nDistillery Row was founded in 2009 and is a non-profit trade association consisting of eight Portland Central Eastside neighborhood spirits producers\, representing the greatest concentration of craft distilleries in the world. Distillery Row’s members include House Spirits Distillery\, New Deal Distillery\, Wild Roots Vodka\, Vinn Distillery\, Thomas & Sons Distillery\, Stone Barn Brandyworks\, Eastside Distilling and Rolling River Spirits. The NW Distiller’s District tasting rooms include Bull Run Distillery\, Freeland Spirits and Aria Gin.

SUMMARY:The Orcas Project Wine Dinner at Ciao Thyme
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Stephanie and Cole Sisson\, founders of the ‘The Orcas Project” for their first event in Bellingham featuring their special micro-production wines. We will serve a 5-course menu paired to their delectable wines. Cole\, a native of Orcas Island\, and his wife Stephanie collaborate with acclaimed winemakers and vineyards around Washington and Oregon to produce small private projects of 50-150 cases. The wines are only available at their tasting room on Orcas and a handful of restaurants in the San Juan Islands. \nThese food-friendly wines feature illustrations by Orcas Island Artist Carlin Hayworth. Each animal on the label corresponds to a different winemaker in the project. At this point there are five winemakers working with the project. \nCole worked as a Sommelier at restaurants including RN74 Seattle and Michael Mina at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. Stephanie worked in importing and distribution with a focus on wine training and education. Stephanie is enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma program and Cole recently sat for the Master Sommelier Exam. As a couple they share the view that wine should be accessible and fun for all! \nFor tickets please call Ciao Thyme at 360.733.1267 or visit their website at https://ciaothyme.com/events/wine-dinner-the-orcas-project
