SUMMARY:The Fourth Annual BC Distilled Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Fourth Annual BC Distilled Festival Set to Take Place April 8\, 2017\nCanada’s premier craft and micro-distillery festival features more than 30 BC distilleries\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVancouver\, BC (January 17\, 2017): Canada’s premier showcase of artisan distilleries takes place Saturday\, April 8\, with 32 regional\, small batch and micro-distilleries pouring samples at the 4th annual BC Distilled festival at the Croatian Cultural Centre. \n“We continue to see phenomenal growth in both the size and innovation of the industry in BC. Since 2012 the number of distilleries in the province has grown from less than 10 to close to 40\, with more than a dozen set to open in the future\,” says the festival founder\, Alex Hamer. “The province also continues to outpace the rest of Canada\, which has about 65 distilleries spread across the remaining provinces and territories.” \nThe event is the year’s best chance to sample the best spirits BC has to offer\, in an atmosphere that encourages you to discuss their distinctive qualities with their makers. Most of the distilleries are represented at the show by their distillers and owners\, so it’s a great chance to meet the makers and learn about how spirits are made. \nAdding to the fun are delicious canapés from Juniper\, Timber\, Two Rivers\, Cascade Roomand Lucky’s Doughnuts\, as well as drinks from Walter Caesar and Modern Mixers & Elixirs. \nIf you find a few new favourites\, there will be an on-site liquor store selling more than 100 products from all of the participating distilleries – the broadest selection of BC spirits you’ll find anywhere in 2017. \nProceeds from the event and its charity auction will support the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS)\, an organization that breeds\, raises\, trains and supports certified assistance dogs for people living with disabilities and for community care professionals. Consider taking time out of your busy evening to cuddle a few puppies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year’s participants include:\n\n\n\nVancouver Island\nLower Mainland & West Coast\n\n\nArbutus Distilleries\nCrow’s Nest Distillery *\n\n\nAmpersand Distilling\nCentral City Brewing and Distilling *\n\n\nDeVine Spirits\nDeep Cove Brewers and Distillers\n\n\nFermentorium Distilling Co\nDragon Mist Distillery\n\n\nMerridale Craft Spirits\nGoodridge & Williams Distillers\n\n\nShelter Point Distillery *\nThe Liberty Distillery\n\n\nSheringham Distillery\nLong Table Distillery\n\n\nVictoria Distillers\nMad Labratory Distilling\n\n\nWayward Distillation House\nOdd Society Spirits\n\n\nOkanagan\, Kootenays\, & the Interior\nPemberton Distillery\n\n\nBohemian Spirits\nSons of Vancouver\n\n\nDubh Glas Distillery\nStealth Distilleries *\n\n\nLegend Distilling\nThe Woods Spirit Co\n\n\nMaple Leaf Spirits\nYaletown Distilling\n\n\nMonashee Spirits *\nX Four Vodka\n\n\nOkanagan Crush Pad\n\n\n\nOkanagan Spirits\n\n\n\nOld Order Distilling\n* New to the show in 2017\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBC Distilled \nSaturday\, April 8\nTrade Tasting: 2:30 to 5:30 pm\nPublic Tasting: 6:00 to 9:00 pm\nCroatian Cultural Centre\, 3520 Commercial Drive\, VancouverFor more information\, visit: bcdistilled.ca.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Experience the artistry of craft brewing in the form of traditional cask-conditioned beer. To remain true to the spirit of “real ale” all beers are conditioned naturally without artificially introducing CO2 into the cask and will be poured by gravity or via a beer engine. \nAdmission includes a commemorative tasting glass and 15-4oz beer samples. The event will host two sessions: 12-4pm & 5:30-9:30pm. Separate tickets required for each session. Taps close 10 minutes before closing each session. This is a 21 and over only event. Designated driver admission is $5 and available at the door. Tickets are non-refundable. No dogs allowed. \n2017 Participating Breweries: \n\n\n\n\n\n7 Seas Brewing\n\n\nAnacortes Brewery\n\n\nBainbridge Brewing\n\n\nBale Breaker Brewing\n\n\nBlack Raven Brewing\n\n\nBoundary Bay Brewery\n\n\nCash Brewing\n\n\nCloudburst Brewing\n\n\nCrucible Brewing\n\n\nDiamond Knot Craft Brewing\n\n\nElliott Bay Brewing\n\n\nElysian Brewing\n\n\nFigurehead Brewing\n\n\nFish Brewing\n\n\nFlying Bike Cooperative Brewery\n\n\nFlying Lion Brewing\n\n\nFremont Brewing\n\n\nGeorgetown Brewing\n\n\nHellbent Brewing\n\n\nHi-Fi Brewing\n\n\nHop Nation Brewing\n\n\nJellyfish Brewing\n\n\nMac and Jack’s Brewery\n\n\nMachine House Brewery\n\n\nMaritime Pacific Brewing\n\n\nMcMenamins Breweries\n\n\nMollusk\n\n\nNaked City Brewery\n\n\nNorth Sound Brewing\n\n\nOdin Brewing\n\n\nOld Stove Brewing\n\n\nPostdoc Brewing\n\n\nRainy Daze Brewing\n\n\nRAM Brewery\n\n\nRooftop Brewing\n\n\nSchooner Exact Brewing\n\n\nSilver City Brewery\n\n\nSlaughter County Brewing\n\n\nSound To Summit Brewing\n\n\nTriplehorn Brewing\n\n\nTwo Beers Brewing\n\n\n\nPresented by the Washington Brewers Guild.
