Fifteen downtown Oregon City businesses each host a local winery or cidery with a knowledgeable representative sampling unique offerings\, sharing details about their wine and cider production techniques and providing packaged bottle/can to-go sales. The walk spans five blocks of Main Street and Railroad Avenue. \nThe Fall Wine and Cider Walk is part of a quarterly sip and stroll series hosted in downtown Oregon City. Tickets are limited to 400 guests; $25 cost includes all samples and a keepsake glass. Tickets are available online. DOCA’s next sip and stroll is a Winter Spirits Walk featuring local distilleries\, held Thursday\, December 12th. Expressive in her approach to a Jazz standard\, she creates a memorable moment and lures you in wanting more. \nA native of Bellevue\, Washington\, she was instructed by Jack Halm at Sammamish High School; A great jazz professor in the Bellevue School District and Seattle Pacific University. After graduation she studied Music and History at Southern University in Baton Rouge\, Louisiana where she developed a deep understanding of the blues and the origins of jazz music. \n“Jacqueline D. Tabor is an independent artist that must be discovered and experienced to truly enjoy the great skills and talents she possesses.” Robert Cunningham from the Lexington Jazz Music Examiner was wrote on April 24\, 2012. \nInfluences include: Edmonia Jarrett\, Diane Reeves\, Eva Cassidy\, Melody Gardot\, Tuck and Patti\, Mel Torme and Sarah Vaughan.
