DESCRIPTION:The 9th annual Cider Summit SEA\, the region’s largest hard cider tasting festival returns to Seattle to celebrate the fastest growing segment of the craft beverage market. Cider Summit Seattle will take place Friday\, September 7th from 3pm to 8pm (VIP session starts at 2pm-3pm) and Saturday\, September 8th from noon to 5pm at the South Lake Union Discovery Center Lawn\, 101 Westlake Ave. N. near Westlake & Denny. \nPresented by Capitol Cider\, this year’s Cider Summit SEA will offer guests commemorative 2oz festival glassware\, as well as double the number of tasting tickets from previous years\, allowing guests to try more ciders. This year’s event will feature over 150 ciders\, meads\, and cider cocktails including regional favorites and international classics\, from the industry’s leading cidermakers\, many of which will be on hand to inform and guide guests through the tastings. \nTickets are on sale now at https://www.cidersummitnw.com/tickets. General admission includes a souvenir tasting glass and 16 tasting tickets and costs $30 (plus taxes & service charges) prior to July 31\, $35 from Aug.1 – Sept.6\, or $45 at the gate (including all taxes & service charges). GA tickets will also be available starting Aug. 1 at Capitol Cider. Additional tasting tickets are available onsite for $2 each. Guests will be allowed to re-enter the event both days with wristband on and with this year’s event glass. \nVIP tickets are available exclusively online\, with limited quantities\, which include a souvenir tasting glass\, early entry from 2pm-3pm on Sept. 7\, and 24 tasting tickets. VIP tickets cost $40 (plus taxes & service charges) prior to July 31 or $45 from to Aug. 1\, or while supplies last. VIP tickets are not available at the gate. Designated Driver tickets are available at the gate for $5 and include a bottle of water. No alcohol may be consumed with a Designated Driver ticket. All tickets allow re-entry on Friday and Saturday with event wristband worn and the tasting glass.
