DESCRIPTION:The Red Wine\, Cider and Chocolate Tour is the perfect way to explore the North Olympic Peninsula on a mid-winter Road Trip. This tour extends over two weekends in February:  February 8-9 and February 15-17 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Experience the relationship between exceptional red wines and ciders and the complex flavors and textures of chocolate as you take in the beauty of your surroundings. From the famed Kitty Kat Lounge to the delightful Chocolate Fountain\, wineries will be serving up some of the old favorites (think Cocoa Spice Rubbed Pulled Pork\, WeDo Fudge or Yvonne’s Chocolates) to some new surprises. Harbinger Winery is promising amazing feats of gastronomic pleasure\, Camaraderie Cellars has a “heart healthy” trail mix and Marrowstone Vineyards is releasing their first Port.  Many of the wineries will be featuring newly released vintages and even some new varietals.  Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door and include a souvenir wine glass.  If you are going to just hit a few of the wineries\, tasting fees are $10 at each location.
