DESCRIPTION:The St. Paddy Day Half K in Ellensburg is back and this year it’s going to be a slam dunk! Yes. 1/3 of a mile race\, because running is a sport. Let’s “tee up\,” so this year we can raise $10\,000 for Kittitas County FISH Food Bank as a community. There’s no ‘i” in team… \nThe entire race only takes superstars about 8 minutes\, but in our book\, everyone’s a winner. Keep the ball rolling after you score with live music by Hair Nation (the ultimate 80s hair rock band)\, ballpark food and sportsball fun. \nDon’t have butter fingers and let the custom race t-shirt slip through your hands\, register by February 16th to guarantee yours. \nBE AGGRESSIVE\, B-E AGGRESSIVE! Pick up your race packets early on Friday 3/15 at [ the pub ] between 3 p.m.-7 p.m.\nDay of registration/packet pick up starts at 11 a.m. at [ the pub ].\nGame time: 2-3:30 p.m. \nThe race starts at [ the pub ]\, 412 N. Main St. \nIron Horse and Dakota Cafe will have food for sale at the event. IHB $5 offerings include hot dogs\, pretzels (salted or cinnamon sugar) and nachos. Dakota Cafe’s offerings will be announced at a later time. \nWe’re in full swing to finding sponsors that want to be on our team. The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) created Big Brew as an annual event to celebrate National Homebrew Day around the world. Big Brew is held each year on the first Saturday in May. \nWe will be brewing beer on May 4th. There are two event recipes\, a Transatlantic Blond Ale and a Battlecow Galacticose NE IPA. You can also brew a beer of personal choice. Pre heated water will be available for mashing and covered spaces will be available in front of the store for setup and brewing.

The project was founded by Cervecería de Colima\, Cerveza Loba\, Ronin Fermentation Project\, SouthNorte Beer Co.\, YCH and Bale Breaker Brewing Company. We donate 20% of our proceeds benefit La Casa Hogar\, a Yakima non-profit that connects and educates Latina families. \n\nWe’ll kick off the festivities at noon followed by:\nDelicious eats by Crazy Foods Food Truck 12-8pm\nMichelada bar from 12pm to while supplies last (first come\, first served!)\nA special mariachi serenade from 12:45-2:45pm\nLa Casa Hogar presentation from 1:30-2pm\nFREE-to-the-public photobooth from 2-5pm\nArt Gallery featuring local artist Christie Tirado\nLast call for alcohol at 8pm! \nAll-ages & dogs welcome!\nFREE activities provided by BBBC + YCH from 12-5pm\nBeer\, food\, and merch sold separately
