DESCRIPTION:Over 70 Breweries\, Wineries & Cideries\, Live Music & Great Food set in the beautiful Yakima Valley. \nThe Fresh Hop Ale Festival brings beer lovers from all over the world to the home of the hops. The Yakima Valley produces over 70% of our nations’ hops and are second only to Germany in overall production. We celebrate the harvest with Fresh Hop Beers. These beers HAVE to be brewed with fresh hops from the Valley and can only be produced at this time of year. Each one of our breweries submits a beer into judging and winners are announced during the festival. \nAdditional tasting tokens\, merch and food can be purchased throughout the night.

Hosted by Sip Magazine’s Publisher\, Kristin Ackerman Bacon with special guest appearances from industry experts. Please be sure to tune in! \nPut out across the Pacific Northwest\, from Montana to Southern Oregon\, an open call for submissions brought in over 1200 submissions across all categories this year\, an amazing showing again this year. \nThe submissions were sampled blind and judged by leading beverage industry experts\, from master sommeliers and cicerones to certified spirit judges and cider buyers\, who determined the top four medalists in each respective beverage category. \nThe full results with all the medalists (Platinum\, Double Gold\, Gold and Silver) will be announced in the annual print issue of Sip Magazine\, out in December.
