The Ballard Oktoberfest is coming back for its third year! \nOn Saturday\, Sept. 16\, four Ballard breweries will bring a little bit of Bavaria to the Ballard corridor with a neighborhood Oktoberfest crawl made possible in part by returning sponsor Verity Credit Union. \n“Once again\, Verity Credit Union is thrilled to team up with the Ballard brewing community to sponsor the Third Annual East Ballard Oktoberfest”\, says Alicia Diefenbach\, Community Relations Specialist.  “Spending the afternoon with our neighbors\, brewers\, and an amazing Oompah band is the perfect way to celebrate this community tradition.  We look forward to passing out pretzel bites and souvenir Polaroids to help attendees commemorate the day”. \nThe event will kick off in festive fashion with a traveling oompah band. The Oompah Machine will start playing at Stoup Brewing at 1 p.m. They will then will march revelers to Populuxe Brewing at 2 p.m.\, Lucky Envelope at 3 p.m. and Reuben’s Brews at 4 p.m. \nEach brewery will have at least one special Oktoberfest brew and a limited-edition 0.5 liter commemorative stein or boot. You can purchase glassware for $6 empty or $10 filled. \nAnd because it’s not a party without great food\, revelers will have several options to choose from.
