Wine for Waves

$110Raise a toast to ocean conservation at Ocean Wise and Naramata Bench Wineries Association’s annual Wine for Waves on Friday, April 13 at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. Guests will have a chance to get the first sips of Spring Wine Releases from Naramata Bench Wineries Association and taste delicious, sustainable seafood from Ocean Wise chef partners. This evening of wining and dining marries the very best in B.C. wines with an equally amazing selection of seafood from along the coast.
Hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, Wine for Waves is the perfect evening for wine and seafood lovers alike. With 25 wineries from the Okanagan’s Naramata Bench there will be an extensive selection of renowned wines to choose from, while a number of winery restaurants will also be serving up a mouthwatering select of local, sustainable bites. Mingle with some of B.C’s award-winning winemakers who are helping to make a global name for the region’s renowned wines.
Ocean Wise partners offering savoury and sustainable seafood dishes will include the program’s own executive chef Ned Bell as well as chefs from Urban Fare, YEW seafood + bar, Hart House Restaurant, Stanley Park Pavilion and Fanny Bay Oysters.
Everything Wine will have a wine store onsite with bottles for purchase so oenophiles can take their favourites home. The silent auction will feature wine and experience donations from the Naramata Bench Wineries Association.
Tickets for the event are $110 + tax and are available at www.ocean.org/wineforwaves. All proceeds from the event support Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise seafood program.
