Whiskies for Wildlife

September 23, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$165

[Content copied from original press release.]

The 7th installment of WHISKIES FOR WILDLIFE lands on Bainbridge Island September 23, 2017, and the earlier date almost ensures that we will have stunning afternoon weather at The Manor House and a spectacular view of the ferries and pleasure craft negotiating picturesque Rich Passage.

But the view outside will be playing second fiddle as we’ve pulled out all the stops to make sure that we have our best-ever selection of high-marque, rare and antique whiskies available for your sampling pleasure.

Accompanying the high-end and rare expressions from Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Talisker, Oban, Caol Ila, Linkwood, Lagavulin, I.W. Harper, Suntory, Laphroaig, Bowmore, Jim Beam Brands, Macallan, Highland Park, Glenlivet, Aberlour, Scapa, Jameson, Aberfeldy, Aultmore, Royal Brackla, Dewar’s, Ben Raich, Glendronach, Jack Daniels, Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, Westland, Bruichladdich, Octomore, Tomatin, Tullabardine, The Dalmore, Jura, Bainbridge Organic Distillers and more will be vintage and antique expressions from the 1920s through the 1970s (including a bottle of the George Dickel “Powderhorn” bottle , the type featured in Star Trek in the 1960s!) . These priceless and unique older vintages provide the opportunity to compare whiskies from decades past with their modern iterations, lending a unique perspective on the craft of whiskey making, how tastes have changed over the years and how they’ve stayed the same.
