North Willamette Wine Trail Returns for its 9th Year

North Willamette Valley, Ore. (February, 28 2017) — The annual North Willamette Vintners Wine Trail returns for its 9th year. This self-guided, wine-tasting event offers attendees rich and diverse experiences accompanied by food and wine pairings. The event takes place April 8-9, 2017.

Tickets are $60 for a weekend ticket, $40 for a single day pass, $20 for a designate driver pass. Early-bird purchasers save $5 ($55 weekend pass, $35 single day pass) while also receiving four bonus complimentary tastings universally accepted by North Willamette Valley member wineries for future use. Tickets may be purchased in advance online.

Lovers of Oregon wine will partake in truly unique and informative experiences. Watch noir while sipping Pinot Noir, stitch together cuttings to graft a vine to keep, toast an oak stave and smell the complex aromas released, and blend wines from single barrels to create your own unique wine. . . and that’s day one.

Ticketed participants will receive a custom-printed wine glass to keep and a lanyard, both of which serve as the entry ticket into participating wineries. Upon completing each activity, attendees receive a unique button associated with that winery activity.

To ensure safe and sober passage between wineries, North Willamette Vintners offers a designated driver ticket for $20. The designated driver can then participate in all events, nosh on appetizers, and receive four universal complimentary wine tastings for future use at participating North Willamette Valley wineries.

The North Willamette Vintners is a membership organization consisting of a collection of wineries, vineyards and wine tourism partners that shape the northern gateway to Oregon’s wine country. Brought together by a deep passion for crafting the finest wines from the most fertile environment, its members are a diverse and dedicated group. Originally founded as the Wineries of Washington County, in 2008, the North Willamette Vintners grew from a small cooperative marketing group to a full-service, nonprofit professional association.
