“How well do you smell?”

March 12, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We are built to smell and distinguish flavors based on our history, origins, culture and preferences.

Join renowned wine educator Regina “Reggie” Daigneault for an interesting exploration into the neurology of smell and taste. In this session, we will define the individual flavors that we smell and taste in wines together while learning about our senses and the intriguing science of sensory evaluation. Reggie will go through the best way to detect aromas in these wines and why they carry these alluring smells.

Here’s a list of wines to grab to follow along!

Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand
Buttery Styled Chardonnay – WA or CA
Pinot Noir – anywhere in Willamette Valley
Syrah – anywhere in WA State
