WHAT:             
Salute to fall and cheers to wildlife conservation with a nice, cold frothy mug of beer (or cider) at Woodland Park Zoo! The seventh annual after-hours, adults-only Brew at the Zoo, presented by Delta Air Lines, beer and cider tasting event is Thursday, October 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy an evening at the zoo sampling imports, domestics, microbrews, and ciders from a host of breweries, including a lot of local Northwest favorites, at several indoor and outdoor sampling stations at the zoo.

Additional tastings and concessions from Lancer Catering are available for purchase. The evening includes animal encounters with the zoo’s ambassador animals and an opportunity to enjoy the zoo’s award-winning Jaguar Cove and Humboldt penguin exhibits. Proceeds from this event benefit the zoo’s wildlife conservation projects locally and around the world, exemplary animal care and interactive education programs.

Brew at the Zoo VIP tickets offer VIP guests early entry to the event at 5:00 p.m., an exclusive animal encounter, a delicious buffet, a souvenir tasting glass, extra tasting opportunities, a Family Fun Pack of zoo admission tickets, and access to the Tropical Rain Forest exhibit prior to 6:00 p.m.

Brew at the Zoo is for adults 21 and over only—valid ID is required for entry, no exceptions.

Brew at the Zoo guests can hold on to their event ticket and return to the zoo another day to receive $3 off zoo admission (one discount per ticket, cannot be combined with other discounts or offers). The discount is valid through December 31, 2017.

Jaguar Cove and Humboldt penguin exhibits open during the event from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A VIP ambassador animal program will take place in Zoomazium at 5:15 p.m.; ambassador animal programs will take place in the West Plaza from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tropical Rain Forest exhibit open to VIPs from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

General admission tickets include seven tastings (extra tasting opportunities for VIP), with additional tastings available for purchase. Event ticket does not include admission to the zoo prior to the event. This is an after-hours fundraiser—regular zoo membership admission does not apply.
