The Tasting Group: Featuring Alice Feiring

Join us at SE Wine Collective on Wednesday, June 21 at 6pm for a one time only special guest tasting and Q&A session with world renowned natural wine champion Alice Feiring and Portland’s wine anthropologist Deborah Heath! Alice and Deborah will talk about soil, terroir, and the “taste of place,” sharing a guided tasting of Old World and New World wines grown on different soil types.

Here is the evening’s line up:
Round 1 – Chenin Blanc on Limestone & Schist in both Anjou and Sierra Foothills

New world: Forlorn Hope

Old World: Benoit Courault

Round 2 – Trousseau on Clay over Limestone in Jura and Clay over Basalt in Willamette

New World: Eyrie

Old World: Tissot

Round 3 – Cabernet Franc on Granite in the Applegate Valley and Cabernet Franc/Cab Sauv on Granite in Muscadet

New world: Division

Old World: Pepière
