On Saturday May 19^th the eight craft distilleries known as Distillery Row plus two from the NW Distiller’s District are dedicating their monthly Cocktail Crawl to the classic drink – The Margarita.  Each distillery will be creating their own unique version of this classic.  Proceeds from the Cocktail Crawl will be helping to support the non-profit Feed the Mass. The Cocktail Crawl runs from 12PM-7PM.
Feed the Mass is an organization that educates people about nutrition, cooking, and healthy lifestyles.  Their mission is to empower every individual with the expertise in finding affordable produce, maximizing yield with healthy food products, and skillful application in the kitchen.  Its goal is to move away from processed foods and to reintroduce fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins through teaching the techniques to do so through their cooking courses.

The concept behind Distillery Row Cocktail Crawl is this: Each of the 10 distillery tasting rooms offers their spin on the same classic cocktail the same day, adding a fun new dimension to the Distillery Row experience.

Distillery Row was founded in 2009 and is a non-profit trade association consisting of eight Portland Central Eastside neighborhood spirits producers, representing the greatest concentration of craft distilleries in the world. Distillery Row’s members include House Spirits Distillery, New Deal Distillery, Wild Roots Vodka, Vinn Distillery, Thomas & Sons Distillery, Stone Barn Brandyworks, Eastside Distilling and Rolling River Spirits. The NW Distiller’s District tasting rooms include Bull Run Distillery and Aria Gin.
