As part of Seattle Beer Week, Lucky Envelope Brewing, Populuxe Brewing, Reuben’s Brews and Stoup Brewing are hosting the 1^st Annual Ballard Putt Putt & Beer Crawl for Charity to benefit Bellwether Housing, on Sunday, May 7^th .

The entry fee of $20 per foursome includes a souvenir pint glass for each player, access to the awards ceremony and great prizes. Registration opens April 1st and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teams must register in person at one of the four breweries. Each participating location can sign up a maximum of 10 teams.

Tee time starts at 1 p.m.  at the brewery you registered at. Holes of varying design and difficulty will be set up at each location. Reuben’s Brews will host the awards ceremony at 5 p.m. All score cards must be turned in by 4:30 p.m. to the scorekeeper Reuben’s Brews.

In addition to this event, Lucky Envelope Brewing, Populuxe Brewing, Reuben’s Brews and Stoup Brewing will have on tap a limited-release, collaboration beer. Lock Solid IPA features four hops, four malts and four brewers. Each brewery contributed a raw ingredient used in the first beer the breweries produced professionally, making the Lock Solid IPA a true collaborative effort.

There will also be an opportunity to participate in a 50/50 raffle conducted by our benefit charity, Bellwether Housing. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 at each brewery. The proceeds will be collected, counted and brought to the awards ceremony at Reuben’s Brews. The winner of the ticket drawing will receive 50% of the jackpot and 50% will benefit Bellwether Housing.  Winners must be present to collect their prizes.

Entry fees, raffle proceeds and direct donations will benefit Bellwether Housing. Since 1980, Bellwether has been developing affordable housing options for low-income households throughout Seattle. They enable people to live close to their jobs, be a part of the community they work in, and do away with hour-long commutes that clog our highways and reduce the quality time a person can spend with their family.
